Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Barbara Speake Agency website and any online services, pages, forms, profile-viewing tools, industry-access areas or related digital services made available by Barbara Speake Agency (“BSA”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Barbara Speake Agency

Barbara Speake Agency is a UK talent agency representing performers and, where applicable, models. Information displayed on this website is provided for agency, casting, industry and general informational purposes.

2. Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit the use of the website by any other person. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted areas, interfere with website security, introduce malicious code, scrape protected talent information, or use website content in a misleading, unlawful or unauthorised manner.

3. Talent Profiles and Casting Information

Talent profiles, photographs, biographies, credits, measurements, showreels, voice reels and other professional information are supplied for legitimate casting, representation and industry purposes. Availability, credits, measurements and other profile details may change and should be confirmed with BSA before reliance is placed on them for a booking or engagement.

Where a profile relates to a child or young performer, additional access restrictions may apply. Private or restricted talent information must not be copied, distributed, republished or used outside the purpose for which access was granted.

4. Industry Access

Any password-protected, approval-based or otherwise restricted industry area is intended only for authorised casting professionals, production companies, clients and other approved industry users. Access is personal to the authorised user and must not be shared.

BSA may refuse, suspend or withdraw industry access at any time where we reasonably believe access is being misused, shared, obtained under false pretences or used for purposes unrelated to legitimate casting or professional engagement.

5. Enquiries, Submissions and Bookings

Website enquiries, availability checks, casting requests, submissions and other communications do not create a binding booking or engagement. A booking is only confirmed when expressly agreed by BSA and, where applicable, the relevant talent, parent or guardian.

Fees, usage, exclusivity, travel, working hours, licensing, cancellation terms and other engagement conditions must be agreed separately for each booking.

6. Accuracy of Information

We take reasonable care to keep website information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that all content will always be complete, error-free or up to date. Users should contact BSA to verify any information that is material to a casting, booking or commercial decision.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website design, branding, text, graphics, agency materials and other original content are owned by or licensed to BSA and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Talent photographs, showreels, audio, artwork and third-party materials may be owned by the talent, photographer, producer or another rights holder. Their appearance on this website does not grant any licence for reuse, republication, commercial exploitation, training of artificial intelligence systems, or other use outside legitimate casting or professional evaluation.

8. Prohibited Use of Talent Images and Data

You must not use talent photographs, video, audio, likenesses, names, profile data or other materials obtained through this website for impersonation, harassment, fraudulent activity, unauthorised advertising, dataset creation, biometric analysis, synthetic media, deepfakes, artificial intelligence training, or any other purpose not expressly authorised by BSA and the relevant rights holder.

9. Third-Party Services and Links

This website may contain links to third-party services such as Spotlight, IMDb, social-media platforms, video-hosting services or other external websites. BSA does not control those services and is not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices. Use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

10. Privacy and Personal Data

Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data-protection law. Where we process information relating to children or young performers, we apply additional care and access controls appropriate to the nature of that information.

11. Website Availability and Security

We may change, suspend, restrict or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted or free from technical issues, although we take reasonable steps to maintain its operation and security.

12. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, BSA will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising solely from use of, or inability to use, this website or from reliance on information that should reasonably have been verified with the agency before a booking or commercial decision.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated revision date.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you by law.

15. Contact
